Interview
I applied online through the Huron website and after a few weeks and an email to a supervisor, I got a first round interview. First was a phone interview with HR to see if you were still interested in the position. They asked about my highest level of education, salary expectations, if I was comfortable working remote, and my previous experience working in healthcare. Afterwards, she sent my information to Huron and if they were interested, they would contact me. After 2 weeks, I heard back for an interview with a few managers of the team. Example of questions they asked: 1) Give an example of a time when you faced a moral dilemma. What was it, and how did you react? 2) You are assigned two tasks of exactly equal weight. Each task will take two hours each to complete. You only have 3 hours to complete both. What do you do? 3) The rest of the questions were focused around values and team dynamics. Make sure to come across as a team-oriented and mission-driven individual. They want coachable candidates.
Interview Questions
What would you look into if a hospital was having difficulties with its call wait time?
You have 2 projects that take 2 hours each but you have only 3 hours. How do you prioritize?
What is a weakness that you have and how do you fix it?
If you had to explain what consulting is to your family, what would you say?

Interview
The process started with a phone screen with a member of the Talent Acquisition team. Following that, I was scheduled a writing assessment, a case study/behavioral interview, and a final behavioral interview. The process, from the start to end, took about a month (delayed a bit due to my schedule). Everyone I spoke to was a lifelong employee of the firm, and made the entire process very pleasant. I hadn't heard much about the firm before this, but walked away from the interview process feeling positively about the organization. I received a verbal offer within a week of my final interview, with a written offer sent across within a day or two of that.
Interview Questions
There were no "trick" questions asked, the entire process was just an assessment of understanding your skills and context, and seeing if you'd be a good fit at the firm.

Phone call with HR for initial screening then second round was 2 zoom interviews with VP each an hour, One was technical other is behavior
Interview Questions
Here's the thing don't trust HR to be accurate. I didn't progress further because I had bad intel I was told it was going to be just behavior stuff, excel test, and a case. This was not the case.
1st interview- was exclusively a 1 hour technical I had learned all this but it had been weeks since I did a refresher. Just to give you an idea be ready to talk about the income state, Ebitda, EV, all the valuation methods comps, precident, dcf, lbo and the diff and details about them, terminal value, wacc, free cash flow, then you go deep into the whole sellside M&A process know every phase and every part about those phases, why or why not merge, diluted shares, ways to finance and acquisition, accretion/dilution, etc.

Second was just behavior- why huron, why healthcare, why IB, how deal flow is structed at my firm? and F'ing walk me thought the stages of the m&a process in detail. STAR method stuff never even came into use. Wasn't suppose to last the full hour but it was made for an hour

Interview
I first had a phone screen from HR, which was extremely simple. I then was invited to a 1 hour case interview that was very difficult in my opinion, however it may have been because I had only prepared very little for case studies. I thought it went horribly. I was extremely surprised when I received the final round interview, which I spoke with two directors for 40 minutes each and was entirely behavioral. The final round was extremely simple and uses some of the same questions that have been posted on Glassdoor. Have the usual stories prepared and you'll do great.
Interview Questions
The case interview was extremely difficult, but it may have been because I had only prepared for 45 minutes. I was focusing on Investment Banking as well during this time. I thought it went horribly, but I received the final round interview.

Interview
screening phone interview, behavioral interview with director, case study interview with director, in-person mixer with consulting team and other applicants. Case study basically gets at the question, how would you go about setting up an analysis? looks at the operations of a physician's group, the organization is not on budget (why?), what is the relationship between issues with the operations and the cost:revenue ratio. If ratio is above or below industry standards how would you respond. How are they interlinked? Simple math, figure out the cost and the revenue for the year, so many staff work so many shifts... crunch simple numbers. I get the sense the interviewer does not care so much about the right numbers, he or she cares about how you would go about setting up the analysis, how you would gather data needed for an analysis, then once you have the numbers (with my case study is was a simple ratio), how would you use that to give advice to the CEO.
Interview Questions
Behavioral interview: the director wants to get a sense of how you work on a team and if you have researched the company. Why are you interested in Huron vs other consulting agencies? Why do you want to do consulting vs something else? What are the Excel functions that you know? If you have a sincere interest in the job, you will have sincere questions about their work and company. Have some questions to ask the director because you are also interviewing them, their team and their work culture. You want something that is the right fit.
