Seattle Washington’s iMerge Advisors, is a leading m&a technology advisory and business brokers firm in the cloud computing, software as a service (SaaS), application software and Internet technology space, was founded under the name eBizBrokers in late 1999. Founders Gravel and Whittaker had built several successful e-commerce retail businesses and later sold them. As a result other Internet business owners began to solicit the founders to help sell their businesses and eBizBrokers was formed. Gravel with his years of m&a experience in the 90s desired to change the name to more closely align with the services already being provided under the eBizBrokers name. Therefore in September of 2006, iMerge Advisors was born.
