Licensed Personal Banker

Initially was referred to Chase by a college acquaintance. She sold me on the potential to get my foot in the door at a major bank and gain experience in a client facing role. I officially applied online and used her as a reference. Within a couple days I was called and scheduled a group interview with the branch manager and her assistant. It was very easy and behavioral based. They wanted to make sure I could communicate well, was interested in providing a great client experience, and had the ability to sell. Two days later I had a phone interview with the District Manager and was informed after our 20 minute call that I was hired as long as I passed the standard background and drug tests. The retail branch was small, four banker desks and a staff of nine. Most were college educated, but did not have the desire for further education.
