First step was an initial screening process with their internal recruiter where we went over my resume and experiences, relevant internships, and why I was interested in finance and why Northern Trust. The second phone interview came later with one of the hiring managers who also asked some basic background questions and some generic questions about my knowledge with excel and financial statements. Throughout the process I was regularly in contact with their recruiter and she was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. I was not extended an offer because I did not have competitive internship experiences so I am unsure if there would have been another interview round and if that would consist of a technical assessment or not.
