Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had networked with about 10 employees, ranging from analysts, associates, VPs, and MDs. After that, I submitted my application and was contacted for a coffee chat on campus. After the coffee chat, I had my first round interview, which was consisted of basic technicals and a behavioral with two analysts. After my first round, I was contacted for a super day which consisted of 5 different interviews with senior-level bankers. The only technical was a paper LBO that was really easy (no interest or tax), the hardest part was the last part where the interviewer asked about the amount of debt you'd need to pay off to achieve a certain IRR. Other than that, there was a case study on this Ed tech company that was basically testing your thought process (really no way to study for this), especially in the context of COVID. The majority of the interview was behavioral (some situationals), but they'll really dig into your resume and your story.
