BAAM @ Blackstone

Hey all, I need a little bit of insight into BAAM at Blackstone, including what their respect is like in the industry, what the potential pay ladder looks like, and what each of their different types of investment strategy’s means/entails.

If somebody could fill me in on what each type alternative investing strategy looks like/consists of, it would be much appreciated:

BAAM builds customized portfolios for institutional investors.

They manage a liquid alternatives fund for the retail and high net worth individuals space.

They have a business that participates directly in alternative manager economics, both by buying GP stakes and by seeding new hedge fund managers.

And they have a direct investing strategy.

Once again if someone can just go over each of those investing strategies and give a little insight into BAAM as a whole, specifically someone interested in a Summer Analyst role, that would be great, thanks.
