Got told I wasn’t going to make the cut after not getting feedback for 1 year. I hate work from home, how fucked am I?

I work at a large asset manager. After 1 year of begging for feedback and trying to "anticipate group needs" I got told I wasn't good enough and the seniors don't trust my work product. They say this is a rep job but I haven't gotten feedback on 9/10 models I have done, so how can I get better if I never know what I am doing wrong? I can count on one hand the amount of time I have had something corrected/explained to me. Am I fucked here or am I in a dogshit group?

Sounds like a shitty situation, I’m genuinely sorry to hear this. If I were in your shoes, I would be more blunt in expressing how you feel. Explain how expectations and feedback haven’t been relayed despite you trying to get it, though being able to do this probably depends a lot on your relationship with your seniors, which obviously doesn’t seem great. To be honest, I think you should start looking for other opportunities, regardless. Best of luck.
