Preparing to start as an Investment Analyst
Going to be starting this summer as an investment analyst with a large investment consultancy that also has $30b+ in discretionary AUM. They operate across a wide range of investment classes. I likely won't know exactly where I'll be assigned until I start.
Wondering if there is anything I can be doing now to hit the ground running when I start? What are the things that people wish they knew/wish the analysts on their team knew before starting? Any must-read books?
I have seen a few threads on this for IB, but not yet for asset/investment management.
