Superday with No Networking - what are my chances?

Hi WSO,

I have a superday with Goldman's Investment Management Division (PWM, AM Client Business, Insurance) coming up. I was very surprised (and lucky, I presume) to get the interview, as I have done literally 0 networking with anyone at Goldman. I am an Econ major from a target with a 3.85.

I've heard a lot about the importance of networking for banking jobs. I'm wondering to what extent that matters once you're at the superday stage; is it mainly based upon interview performance at that point, or does it still give you a great advantage to have spoken with a lot of people beforehand? What are my chances?

Any responses are appreciated. Thanks.

Just focus on putting your best foot forward. You can't control what you don't know (who else is interviewing and has connections).

How many interviews were there before the superday?
