What's your favorite reading/learning material when you got started out in AM/ER?
I'm looking to sharpen my technicals for stock valuations, ratios, economic data, etc and I've found Investopedia and Ray Dalio's content to be super helpful. I was curious if you all had any material you wanted to share that you found super helpful. I know at some point though all of this will have to be put into practice to develop an actual thesis and that's what I'm trying to work towards. A goal of mine, which may be pretty tryhard, is to be able to put together quality ER reports which I think will help a lot for interviews, networking, etc to show my interest in getting into the buyside.
following
McKinsey Valuation, Porter's Competitive Strategy, Pitch the Perfect Investment, The Investment Checklist, The Dark Side of Valuation, Super Forecasting, Thinking Fast and Slow
These would be my staples. I still refer back to McKinsey and The Dark Side fairly often when doing modeling work.
