Consulting Cover Letter help

I go to a complete TTTTT non target school in WV/MD/VA area. I'm a junior Business/Marketing major, 3.7 cumulative GPA, 4.0 businesses GPA. I'm currently undertaking one internship (basically I'm helping a person with disabilities start his own company), and I have strong leadership/extracurricular activities on my resume. I am very interested in breaking into consulting; however I know my non AACSB School poses as a disadvantage. However recently, I met a consultant who works for an Accenture/Deloitte type company who is in a upper leadership position through a friend, and I talked to him for awhile. At the end of our conversation he told me to send my resume and cover letter to him, and he would see if he could help me out with a summer internship. I am so thrilled to have someone with an inside connection, agree to look at my resume! However I'm nervous about how to write a professional cover letter to this gentleman I met. Could you guys, who have experience with consulting, please provide me a solid template for a cover letter or at least suggest what I should write in my cover letter.

Thanks everyone in advance, it means alot!
