What are the exit ops after MBB?

We all know that after IB you can go to PE or HF. Even most people who stay at IB leave at some level (e.g. MD) or simply become the head of a given department.

But what does it look like in MBB? Where do most people end up after MBB? What career options does someone have after becoming a partner?

I'm mainly interested in information from Europe, but I'd also like to get insight from America or Asia.

If you're still an associate, I see some people switch to IB. If you're in a Consultant role and up, most people go to corporate. Few go to IB/PE.

It sounds like you're asking about exits at Partner/ Senior Partner level. I know partners/ SPs who have left for: multiple Chief Strategy Officer/ COO/ CEO/ CMO roles at FTSE100/ F500 firms, Operating Partner role at PE firm, Chief of Staff role at HF, Senior Adviser to PE firm/ HF/ SWF, Senior Partner at a thinktank, senior civil servant position (he reported into the head of the civil service), lecturer at a business school, senior adviser to the IMF/ WTO, etc.

There are also plenty that simply retire and become senior advisers to McKinsey
