Question Regarding the CIRA (Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor) Exam
Not 100% sure if this should go under the Corporate Finance or Management Consulting forums so please move if appropriate.
I am looking to break into the restructuring / turnaround space (think A&M, FTI, AlixPartners, etc.). Based on my research and several casual conversions with people currently Working in the space it seems like earning the CIRA accreditation would help my case and help show my dedication to get into the industry. That being said there is little to no information about the exams on the internet so unlike the CFA or CPA that have thousands of practice exams and study guides floating around. Does anyone here have any insight they could provide? How much does the 8 to 10 hours of classroom study prepare you? Do I have to comb through every minute detail and accounting law in each of the study material packets?
Thanks for any help / info you all can provide.
