UK Big4 CF

Can someone clarify the wording of the teams relating to traditional IB within the BIG4? The vast difference between terminology is very confusing, Deloitte for example only has 'Advisory' and 'Transaction Services' meanwhile KPMG has a Deals team, and EY and PWC have Corporate FInance teams, while also having numerous other teams. Their role description isn't very informative and often several of the teams include buzzwords and terms like M&A, making the distinction between them confusing. I'm looking to transfer from Audit to one of these teams soon but am very anxious of applying to the wrong team by mistake due to lack of clarity.

I spoke to someone who came from Audit at big 4 and is not in IB. He had mates who went into one of these ‘IB’ roles at big 4. He said they both have the essentially role, big 4 just get paid less and have more conflicts of interest internally. I don’t have direct experience this is just what I’ve been told.
