Kinda flustered with this: They add you on LinkedIn after my tailored message for coffee chats, but when I go set up calls, they don't respond. I follow up again after two weeks, still no response. Why the f**k did you add me in the first place then? Should I follow up again?

I’ll tell you why: it’s because I am busy (with work, kids, etc). What usually happens is: 1) I receive a message 2) I read it during my few spare minutes (when I’m waiting in line for my coffee for example) 3) If the person or message is interesting, I make a mental note to respond to it 4) Fire drill happens at work and your message is now at the bottom on my priority list Don’t take these things too personally. When I was more hot headed in my college years, I used to get mad over stuff like this.
