Commercial Credit Analyst desperately looking to find something else

I am in a bit of a tough spot here. I currently work as a Commercial Credit Analyst at one of the BB's in the southeast. Due to a few unfortunate personal issues (close family members experiencing concerning health issues), I need to move back to my home city as soon as possible (Chicago). 


Sob story aside, I don't want to just quit my job a leave for something easy/bad for my career. I don't have a stellar resume (1.5 years tech sales, almost 1 year commercial credit, non target with 3.2 gpa), so I have to get pretty creative with where I apply. Problem is, I think im running out of options. I have looked into other banks in Chicago, private credit funds, ratings agencies, etc. Not getting much luck, but I understand the market conditions are not favorable. I don't want to just take any job that I can get, as I still want to progress in my career, but im running out of ideas. Im sorry if this isnt the right place for this kind of post, but can anyone provide me with some ideas where to look for jobs I might be qualified for? Thanks.
