Public/Private Credit in Southeast/TX
Since options are more limited than T1 cities, wanted to get a thread going for those targeting buyside credit but wanting to be in the Southeast. What are some of the best/largest firms in Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Florida, etc.

Capitala (heard not so good things about culture but my sample set is small), Comvest, Whitehorse (NY culture seemed rough not sure how FL is), then some other funds have small outposts in FL. I think LBC may have an office in one of those cities but could be an originations outpost. Chatham is in Atlanta.
