Med school dropout with zero finance background looking to get into ER

Hi everyone,
First time on this page since I’ve been on a medicine track my entire life. Decided to drop out as finance intrigued me far more and I lost my passion for medicine over time. I have an interview coming up for a position in healthcare-oriented ER and was wondering if I could get some insight into what I should expect. I have a very rough knowledge of stock valuation and data analysis through biology research but nothing more.

I suspect your interviewer will give you a pass on the finance side of things as long as you demonstrate expertise on the biology side, if it's a highly specialized subsector of health care that you are interviewing for. Given your ability to get into a medical school, no one should doubt your ability to pick up some stock valuation techniques.

For biotech at least, it's the science that matters.
