What to expect in Macro Research Interviews???

Hi all,

I'm planning on applying for 'Macro Research' roles at BBs (+ other sell-side research firms) in the upcoming (EMEA) recruiting cycle.

Have been searching on WSO and elsewhere on the web for insights on the stuff that I'd be asked in interviews for Macro research positions (not equity/fixed income research) but haven't really found anything that substantial.

I expect that I'll be asked about the current macro situation, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this and give a more detailed overview of the kind of stuff to expect.

Cheers!
