Bridgewater - Investment vs. Research Associate
What the are key differences between the Investment Associate and Research Associate roles at Bridgewater? Is there internal mobility between the roles?
Both seem to have a decent amount of overlap in terms of responsibilities. Yet, the firm states the Investment Associate is their "flagship" position. Are the research roles more singularly focused/simply providing initial investment theses versus investment roles developing these into strategies and pitching to PMs?
