DE Shaw Trading // GS FX derivatives sales
Hi,
Another question around DE Shaw: For those in the know!
I am having a second round interview (first round was 2 conf calls with traders)...
I know it is for a trading position, but not sure if it is in equity, Fixed Income...Although questions during the conf call were mostly FI oriented??
Which questions can they ask during the interviews?? (They did not ask me any brainteaser during conf call, but they did ask questions about pricing bonds, yield curve...)
I did a few internships in structured equity products before, but these were as sales....And I did not do any rocket science or maths at university...
Any idea of the position they intend to fill in?
Otherwise, I have also a second round at GS in FX derivatives sales... In the very favourable case where I am successful at these 2 opportunities, which one would you choose???? I do think I am more a salesperson than a trader because I like talking to clients, but on the other hand I would like to get a job where I can get and use some technical skills...
Thanks a lot guys and girls,
