Distributor Margins and Valuations
Hey guys, was wondering if you could help me answer a question about distribution business models. In general, why do distributors trade at high multiples, and why do distributors favor inflationary environments? Is it simply because in most instances they can pass on prices (maintain same gross profit margins) while getting higher gross profit dollars?
