How busy are you on a daily basis?
I know we are all relatively busy on the buy side. But in all seriousness, how packed is your day-to-day schedule? Are you constantly busy at most times? If so, what consumes the biggest chunk of your time? If not, how do you spend your "idle" time?

Given the open ended nature, I usually have more ideas than I could possible work through, so generally - no idle time, but rarely a fire drill
My positions are low turnover (nature of fund strategy). I’m pretty chill. Can do nothing but look at stock price movement some days. Other days maybe have a ton of calls with sellside or attending dumb NDRs or conferences. My PM doesn’t give a shit whether you work hard or not - as long as your ideas keep making money
