Thoughts on Non-Target MS -> Elite HS -> Ivy League -> Search Fund -> Soph BB SA -> EB SA -> MF PE -> SM HF Pathway?

I am a rising 8th grader at a non-target middle school. I am aiming to transfer to an elite private school (Andover / Exeter / Deerfield) in the hope to get a spot at an Ivy League (Harvard / Yale / Princeton).

After that I plan to get a first class Search Fund internship (NextGen Growth Partners / Avalerian Capital) and recruit for Sophomore SA at a BB (BofA / MS / GS) and then utilize that for an EB SA (EVR / Moelis / PJT) stint.

Then, I want to exit to a MF PE (BX / Apollo / KKR) and finally transition to a SM HF (Pershing / D1 / Viking).

However, I just got a C+ on my most recent algebra quiz...

Is it over for me?

Give it up bud. Target HS's are accepting less and less from non-target MS these days and in this market. Unless you're diversity, you're screwed. Time to settle for FP&A.

you were fucked the second you decided to walk into a non-target middle school. I am afraid your career trajectory will never be the same it once was.
