Advice for translating deal/trade comp valuation across countries

Hi,

I am a commercial banker by profession in South Asia. For my side hustle I consult here and there too. I have done financial modelling courses and do hold a professional qualification in finance.

However, this is a first time I am venturing into equity valuation and M&A ( I am more of a corporate/middle market debt guy in my day job).

A few questions.

How do I use deal/trading multiples using US data for TGT CO valuation in UAE or some other country (if i can't get data from target country for same industry)?

Any free/low cost database to go through for past M&A deal data?

For DCF, If I don't have enough data to calculate beta in target country, how do I use beta estimates from US. Should I use country risk premium data to adjust required ROE to get WACC.

Regards,

Asad.
