Degree required for investment banking
Hey all,
I have recently been offered a spot in the IBA (intl business administration) programme in Rotterdam school of management. As this degree is supposedly more focused on global markets etc, i would like to know my chances of entering investment banking upon graduation. (Preferably in europe or USA.) I have heard that an economics or math degree is more sought after/ useful in investment banking. Is this true?
Also, do i have to obtain a master's in a quantitative related field in order to get into investment banking?
Lastly, comparing the BBA and the IBA, which would be better in order to break into investment banking?
thanks alot!
