Diversity programs in the UK
There main diversity programs into finance: SEO London, 10000 Interns Foundations, Girls are Investors
SEO London is not really a diversity program for students from low-socioeconomic background as everyone there is pretty much from a privileged background and they dont even screen applicants. They just focus on relevant experience on CVs.
The other two pay more attention to overall application and interests rather than focusing on relevant experiences on CVs.
This is the first time I've came across them as a university student, what are people's thoughts on these programs?
Can these programs convert onto full-time and what firms participate in them to convert to FT?
10,000 is an amazing initative and many students have converted.
Participating organisations include Morgan Stanley, Lazard, Lloyds banking group, PWC, HSBC, Reddignton also top city law firms and boutique PE/AM/IM
roles across IBD/ S&T
Do you know if anyone converted for S&T, trading specifically?
Just wondering... are there any diversity programs for people who want to lateral or try to break in post-MBA?
