Does salary vary with different teams within the same bank?
Spoke to an analyst at a BB in their top team and found out they get paid more than the reported IB wide salary. Does this mean for bankers in top performing teams they could be paid a higher salary as well as a higher bonus?
Are you in London? If so, that might be why. Also, different salary for product and coverage.
Yh this is London. So is this common practice in London branches?
It's bad to generalize, just know it's not impossible. Would definitely talk to HR about this though.
