FT Recruiting: Who has offers?
Who has been successful in the interview process this year? I've been on hold for the longest time. If you got an offer (not from the summer internship), could you post which firm and location?

Had 1st rounds with maybe ~25 places, final rounds with ~10 firms. Out of 5 final rounds so far, 4 rejections and waiting to hear back from 1. Still got 5 more to go. Most are Banking/Consulting firms.
Yep, not a fun time to be graduating lol.
dude, how the hell did you rack up that many interviews. especially in this market?
...pretty impressive
~15 first rounds (5 over the phone) all with banking firms, with 4 leading to final rounds. Rejected from 2, waiting for 2. About 90-95% of interviews are for firms located in NY. The offer yield from the 2 firms I've been rejected from were less than 10% each...
I had about 25 first rounds (only 5 with banks), about 8 second rounds (2 banks) and accepted at a premier boutique.
Approximately 25 first rounds, 3 2nd rounds with 3 more 2nd rounds to go. Zero offers.
Not a fun time to be graduating is right. Peace Corps, here I come.
Had a lot of rounds, got offers at three BBs and two top-tier boutiques. I think the way I was able to do this was by doing all of my recruiting and interviewing in August-September. Because I'm coming from a non-target, I didn't have the luxury of waiting for on-campus interviews, so at two of the BBs (the two I didn't summer at) I didn't even have first rounds, just a super day. At the boutiques I had multiple rounds.
I did the same as bkm - did my SA in the summer, and just interviewed through end of August since I'm also a non-target and don't have banks coming to my school.
Only did one interview at a top boutique and got an offer, so I got lucky. It sure is a tough environment right now, and I think it's probably got even more difficult since August till now
sounds almost like its easier coming from a non target than a top target...
