GS raised 10B just like that!

I don't care what anyone says, GS is the King! Raised 5 billion from buffet, and another 5 in public offering. GS now have Loads of cash now and lack competition! if you think GS is big now, wait till you see the market picks up! they are going to make a killing!

if you look at the actual rate that GS payed taking into account the price of similar options, the rate ends up being more like 14%, although some people say that GS payed as much as 18% for the loan.

What would you do with a Goldman Offer? Since GS became a bank holding company, do you think one should choose a top PE over a GS merchant banking position?

You need to look at the terms of the deal, it smells of desperation. They have to pay Buffet a 500 million a year dividend for starters. GS is being exposed for being weaker than many people thought.
