IB Barclays vs PE Warburg Pincus
AN3 at Barclays/Credit Suisse London (coverage).
I have the choice between staying there and being promoted A1 (already got promoted), or to leave to Warburg Pincus as a PE Associate (London as well).
What would you do? Warburg Pincus is only known by people in finance and my exit opps might decline as well
Pls vote below
Stay at Barc/CS in sector coverage as an associate 1
Start as a PE associate at Warburg Pincus
Join a tech startup.
sorry I'm not a consultant
What do you want to do in life?
Make as much money as possible and work as little as possible
And fuck as much girls as possible as well
I think the argument about “Warburg Pincus” not being known outside finance is not a good way to view things. Look at it more from perspective of being an investor vs an advisor and the actual work you’ll be doing if you want to eventually go to another role. A quick google search from future employers should get them up to speed that WP is legit, so you should consider whether you want to be an investor or not in the long term
At some point you have to trade exit ops for comp/security/lifestyle. I would take Warburg.
Taking Warburg for lifestyle, hilarious
Warburg pay & benefits are Insane, but hours are brutal worse than banking
Mwhat are the benefits?
