JPM Culture

What groups at JPM have good culture / reasonable WLB ?

Asking because everything I hear - DI, HC, M&A, FIG, Tech etc all super sweaty and bad culture. I'm exploring trading up firms but not sure if its worth giving up the good culture at current firm.

Also, can anyone give some color on the Digital Investment Banking group started two years ago, and how it’s shaping up?

I know a couple of people from the industrials group that quit a couple years ago. They said the hours were very tough.

Interned at JPM last summer, joining FT soon.

I mean between JPM/GS/MS most of the top groups at all three are going to be sweaty. In terms of culture, having spoke to my friends at GS/MS, I think JPM is the best out of the three. The people at JPM are generally more easy-going and friendlier in my opinion. I know FSG has an amazing culture, a buddy of mine was placed there and he loves it.

JPM is brutal at the junior level because they lead so many deals. If you're going there expect to work your ass off but the benefit of having JPM on your resume will pay dividends in the future.

Anyone know which groups beside Capital markets groups have decent culture? More concerned about the people. Willing to work rough long hours with the right people.
