Junior SA CM vs. Soph Rotational Program vs. Mastercard SA
Hey everyone I was hoping to grasp some of your intake on the options that lay before me regarding prestige, knowledge/skills learned (most important at this point), and spin off - and hoping you guys can help me choose which would ultimately be the most useful for this summer:
1) SA Capital Markets at a BB or SA Corporate Banking - These are both the junior programs, and as I have very little prior experience with finance I didn't think it straight to jump straight into IBD at BB's and as such I was hoping to get a less specialist feel with Corporate Banking (how is this field seen as in relation to IBD in general? Is it looked down upon?) or to learn of trading and such with CM.
2) Standard Sophomore Rotational Program IBD at a BB - not sure how this would compare prestige wise with the first choice, but I know I like that fact that its more a brief introduction/overview of many different fields in IBD.
3) SA with Mastercard in Brussels - This would be very interesting as Mastercard doesn't take many SA's and it would be a much less intensive and very different program - plus I would be able to explore Brussels which I would never be able to do otherwise.
In addition the first choice would be in London, second NYC, and third Brussels (I prefer Europe over US right now), thanks guys :)
I would say sophomore rotational is the best.
