LSE MFin for London IB
I am a final year at a UK target and have been accepted into LSE MFin programme. How will it improve my chances of recruiting for investment banking? I have successfully cleared CFA level 1 and completed. one internship in my home country (India). I haven't even been able to get interviews in London, even when a lot of people on my course and throughout my current uni are securing roles at GS, MS and JPM. I want to maximise my chances for the next round of recruiting. How helpful is the programme and will the LSE brand be enough to increase my chances and allow me to get a role in FO IB with the improving market. Would it be easier to go for trading roles instead if M&A don't think I'm a good fit?
It should help you getting interviews in London, but don't expect to break in just because you are a LSE student (no masters can guarantee you a spot)
I dont think the CFA will help
Isn’t LSE a good target and why isn’t cfa helpful .
CFA is more relevant for asset management/ wealth management type roles
IB at analyst level, internships across finance are better suited
Lol if you're at a target now and haven't been able to get interviews, then LSE MFin isn't going to change that. There's something else fundamentally wrong with your application.
