It really depends if you want to do origination or capital markets. If you like Cap markets its great, similar pay, better hours, faster paced, and more access to higher ups. At the same time in cap markets you'll be doing less modeling, less comps, and more database stuff and answering phones.

Personally, I think multi is really boring, but if you want a more typical banking experience its def. what you should pick.

 

yeah in dcm you do less excel valuation and more powerpoint.
but why is multi boring? i thought it's more interesting cos in the product groups you get the same thing months on months, at least in multi you see diff industries and learn diff things..
