Off-cycles in London January 2023 + Baird LDN

Hi guys,

Hope someone (previously) active in London can help me out with a few questions concerning OCR/Baird in London

I am currently doing my second internship in IB at a regional bank in the Nordics. I was wondering if two internships (a total of 5 months of experience) are sufficient for candidates from the Nordics to apply for an OC internship in London at MM firms. Furthermore, I am looking to start in January 2023 - any idea when these applications open? I assume most banks don't wait until September/October to recruit for these slots but I would love to hear if I have to apply before or during the summer.

One of the firms I am considering, Baird, opened their applications this week. Can someone elaborate on the firm's culture (in London specifically)? I'm mostly interested in what kind of deals they are working on and how good the learning curve (#1 factor for me personally) would be at Baird compared to other MM firms in London.

Any other firms people recommend for an OC? Also, wondering if Roth (the big fish in MM) does OC internships in London or only in regional offices?

Cheers!
