Project Financing
Which banks deal with project financing? IBs or Commercial Banks? Which ones are active?
And how hard it is to get into pro.fin.? Is it likely they hire fresh grads or those with only 1-2 years of exp.?

anyone has any info?
Project finance is commercial banking turf. I don't know who the key players are (I only have a couple of contacts who do it out of Europe), but I'd expect market leaders in the US to include Citi, BofA and GE.
They do hire straight out of undergrad. It's not the most popular activity (relative to IBD, LBO, trading...), but intakes are also a lot smaller.
You'll get the upper hand on other candidates by showing strong interest and knowledge of the specific activity you apply to.
Thanks for the info!
Does anyone has salary info in project finance? both post-college and post-MBA?
What prestige does it hold in the eyes of b-school adcoms? Can it be a plus that it is not an overcroweded segement? I think the stories could be pretty interesting...What ya think?
anyone on major players? salary?
Citi in UK is very strong, salary is ECM territory.
