Ron Paul needs clothes for the primaries

I may be ideologically strong, but I’m clueless about fashion. For silver bananas:

1) If I get flat front wool slacks (probably grey), should they be cuffed or not cuffed?

2) Can/should I mix the aforementioned slacks with: a navy suit jacket? a navy blazer? (and no tie)

Assume these clothes are for networking into an IB analyst position in NYC, since that’s my backup job (President is first choice).

I prefer flat front slacks. I think cuffs look well with pleats or gabardine.

Get a navy blazer. Suit jackets look nice with jeans, but I think they look crappy when mixing them with other suit slacks.

so, flat front + no cuffs = final verdict?

Should I avoid a crease in my flat fronts? I can’t find any slacks at the department stores without pleats AND without creases. Where can I find some at a reasonable price?

I think he is fine the way he is.

IMO his campaign managers probably prefer a more 'honest' look than a slick/professional 'Romney' like look. It kind of mimics his character. He doesn't care what anybody else thinks and he is comfortable in his own skin.

Moreover, it embodies the belief that there are far more important issues in our world than fitted suits.

This is true. I just wanted some good IB clothes in case this politics thing falls through.

medical practice not doing too hot over there eh?

I have creases in my flat fronts, that is how it should be. Pleats are good for larger guys because they make you look slimmer.

Go buy a steamer also. No need to dry clean your stuff that often.

Oooooh ok. I saw some links to creaseless bonobos when I was searching threads - that's why I was confused. Cool deal.
