Setting yourself apart

I am currently a junior at a target school about to apply to SA positions in i-banking. While attending several firms presentations I managed to strike up conversation with various VPs, associates, and analysts and got a few of their business cards. My question for all you experienced monkeys out there is: what would be good questions/comments to e-mail them so as to set myself apart (or better put: so they remember who i am) from the myriad of other applicants? Any input would be appreciated...
