S&T Internship
Hello,
I have been extended an offer for an S&T internship for the summer. Besides following Market News from WSJ & Bloomberg, I have began reading books on different products - Intro to CD's and Structured Credit is one, and have been working on some Zoologic Modules. I've read a few of the glamourized Wall Street books such as Monkey Business, When Genius Failed, which were entertaining, but not as specific as I need now. What publications should I be checking out? I've been trying to get my hands on II/IBD/II Alpha, but not much success.
I'm currently reading Victor Niederhoffer's book, which I recommend to others.
Thanks for the help!
I have a S&T full time job that starts in June and you seem to be much farther ahead of me...
People say that to me sometimes but I completely disregard that. I want to get the most out of those ten short weeks. If I hit the ground running, I won't have to waste time during the summer covering the basics. More importantly, I can have a decent conversation with someone in the industry, and not make myself out to be some idiot in college.
get ready to make lots and lots and lots of phone calls. oh and learn how to bob and weave in and out of crowds
