Taxation or International law.

Good evening fellas,

I was wondering which major is better according to investment bankers.

In my hometown in the Netherlands, as in many other European countries, you can go straight to law school after high school and that's what I'm planning to do.

Within law school there are several tracks you can choose to persue, the ones that caught my attention are:
1.Tax law / taxation
2. International law

I'm more interested in international law as a field of study and litigation and arbitration as a line of work than I am in tax law.

Tax law might seem better suited for investment banking at first but I think that International law can open more doors than tax law does, both domestically and internationally.

If you rock at International law it would be a lot easier to land an internship at the United Nations for example and as far as I know that would be a great stepping stone for anything, including landing an internship as a summer analyst.

Whereas a tax law major could only intern at an accounting or law firm.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
