Who wants to be a hero?

Everyone! But when they get chance to be a hero(sacraficing their safety to save others) they run and hide in a closet or wait outside like the police officers at the recent Florida school shooting

It took police 3 hours to enter the pulse nightclub while Omar lateen mowed down and killed 49 people. I guess they were waiting for him to run out of bullets or get bored of killing people. True hero's!

Why are people such hero's?

Whyyyy

Very few truly want to be a hero. A night club can be difficult, dark, large open area and a crowd. Finding the shooter and being able to engage would be difficult. Also, they do want as much intel on the shooter and what may be awaiting inside. Do they have explosives? How many are there? What sort of guns are being used? When bullets start flying things get confusing fast. People the quality of intel with a bunch of drunk people who were just partying and saw people get shot, high school kids going about a normal day and so forth is not going to be the best. I think police should be faster on the breach, but they should have some understanding of what they are up against.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.

They do want to be a heroes , they just don't have what it takes.

Ya ur right it would be hard to find the shooter in a club high powered rifles in small confined places are hard to hear... Durrr
