Amount of notice given for an interview
Hi All,
Earlier this year I had a first round interview for a SA position in the Corporate Investment Bank: Markets division at a BB in Australia. I was called up one afternoon and told I had an interview the next day at 9am with two VPs.
I was totally unprepared; my interview didn't go badly but it didn't go well either. I certainly didn't leave a good impression and I didn't get through to the next round. Is this short time frame typical of the interview process in IB?
The HR lady just told me they were working on a really tight schedule. At first I felt as though this was totally unfair, but then now I am thinking they give the candidates no time to prepare to see how well the operate under pressure?
