Architect looking to trade?
Hi everyone:
Im an architect with a couple of years of experience working in NYC. I’ve been working at a well know and respected firm in my field; but unfortunately, I’m finding the field not as satisfying and challenging as I expected. To cut to the chase: I’ve been interested in trading for while, and about a year ago I jumped right in and opened an optionsxpress account and I’ve been trading options for about a year. I’ve educated myself on the basics of trading stocks and options, and I’ve been doing ok, but im really egger to learn more. My question for you guys is: Do you think I could find a job at a trading firm with my background and accomplishments in my field now. Or will my resume be pushed aside as the partners search for freshly minted MBA’s? What kind of experience do trading firms look for? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
