Definition of 1st year analyst

If I started working out of college somewhere and had my first day on the desk in August, is August - December considered my "1st year analyst" period and the next January - December my "2nd year analyst" period? Or is the former more of a stub thing and the latter makes one a 1st year analyst?

It's years of experience.

Unless you use the Delorian, then time is but a river.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee
