EVR PFG Assessment

Hey Monkeys,

I could really use your help! URGENT

I have an assessment centre day at Evercore PFG (graduate role), and I’m really keen for this role!

However I’m quite unfamiliar with what the technical questions may be like? I don’t know if I should prepare like IB level technical questions.

Ive previously done an internship in the fundraising space, and the interview questions were more motivational.

Let me know what you chimps think is key to prepare!

Since PFG mostly focuses on placements (fundraising) I would assume the technicals will more focus on things related to that. Less so stuff that relates to modeling/typical IB stuff.

From my viewpoint, good things to look at are understanding fund lifecycles, fund-level analysis, waterfalls, stuff like IRR/MOIC/other return statistics, basics of how PR firms make money/create value (maybe a baseline understanding of how an LBO makes money), commitment terms, what different asset classes look like to LPs, etc etc.
