General Advice - Just got rejected

yoo peeps,

Went through a 5 week process, 5 rounds of interviews (they had to schedule a second final round with me as they couldn't decide between me and the other candidate), in the end they decided to go with the other candidate. This job was something I'd really love and find interesting, plus comp/hours where very good.

My situation is that in my current role, it's hard to lateral to high finance given the content and shitty junior office location. I have a Masters offer at the top target school in London to do MSc Finance and Accounting but tbh - I'd rather have a job.

My masters starts in September. What do I do now?

Do I just hard resign with no offer and spend the time aggressively recruiting right up until my masters starts?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
