HELP End Goal - Entrepreneurship. B4 Audit vs Outside Opportunities
Hi Everyone,
Currently, I have an Big 4 Offer to work in the Audit service line for financial services clients. I think my long term goal is to have my own business, so I heard auditing can help you with that.
But at the same time, I enjoy the nature of finance work (valuation, M&A) as well - so I'm not entirely sure what is best. From your perspective, if I want to do entrepreneurship, is auditing financial services clients a good way to learn about business? If not, should I turn down the offer and try applying (I don't have other offers yet) for other finance roles?
Lastly, I guess the overall question would be: **Are there roles in finance that let you learn about operating a business? If so, what are they?
**
Let me know what you all think - would love to get your feedback.
