How to not get a return offer

This past summer we had 4 interns in my group. The interns are generally split up on a number of deals and work with those smaller deal teams throughout the summer, but in the last couple of weeks, most time is spent preparing for a final presentation to about 75 employees including a few major executives. The presentations are all done back-to-back and were done on Zoom this past summer. The first two presentations went as smoothly as an intern talking to 75 people can go. When they said the third person's name, there was no response and everyone realized she wasn't even there! We gave it five minutes and people were calling her on the phone but no response. The last intern went ahead and started their presentation but 10 minutes in (30-minute presentation), the third intern finally showed up. While the last intern was still talking, she took over the screen sharing and just began her presentation speaking over the other guy until he shut up. 75 people were stunned into silence and she went on for about 2 minutes until she was gone from the room. Later found out she was kicked out of the zoom and got a call that day telling her she would not be returning.

Lol I would’ve paid money to have seen this just so I could psychoanalyze the type of person that would do something like this.  Like an advanced form of people watching

Need more details on the person OP - was she weird the whole summer?

Also just thought about this but why are you posting this in early May?  This happened last year I’m assuming then?
