IB be AM (out of undergrad)
Coming out of undergrad, with the ultimate goal of becoming a pm, would it be smart to skip the 2 year IB analyst stint if I have an offer in a reputable am first as a research analyst? If I end up changing my mind on my future career path, would I lose that much optionality in career paths? Would going to banking, corporate development/strategy, or PE be that hard to lateral to? Thanks
